Three Inspirations for Happiness

The following three inspirations were adapted from A Daily Dose of Happiness, and they represent three key ways to increase our happiness.

1. FORGIVING FOR HAPPINESS

We like to think we are better than our friends below us in the food chain, such as the octopus and the snail. After all, we have love. We feel happiness. We have empathy. We have a conscience. We can reason.

We can also hold onto grudges.

Grudges are, in fact, prickly little creatures that worm their way into our hearts. Holding onto them is a self-defeating exercise.

Fortunately, forgiveness is also uniquely human. Forgiveness cleanses the spirit. Forgiveness let's us get on with enjoying our lives instead of being preoccupied with someone else's. Forgiveness opens the door to happiness.

2. SUPPORTING FOR HAPPINESS

When things seem to be very bleak, it does not take much to lift someone's spirits. Sometimes all it takes is to let somebody know they are not alone.

That is why it is so important to smile at people, especially if they look down. And if you know what is weighing the person down, let them know they are not alone. Don't go burdening them with all your miseries, but let them know you have been there.

Guess what? You will feel happiness for having helped them, too.

3. ACCEPTING FOR HAPPINESS

There is no such thing as happiness if you are not at peace with yourself. Too many people just don't know how to make peace with themselves.

Peace begins with acceptance. Whether we agree with everything we do (like the environmentalist who sometimes throws out a recyclable container), it is important to accept what we do.

Do we always make the best choices? No. But they are the choices we make.

Do we always treat people with the most respect? No. But it is how we treat people.

Can we improve? Yes, and we should. But that is a project for the future. First we must accept who we are now, rather than condemning ourselves. Then we can move to improve the person we will be tomorrow. Both acceptance today and improvements tomorrow will increase our happiness.

Two Key Ingredients to Living A Fulfilled, Successful Life

A Conversation With John Harricharan

The following is a excerpt from the exclusive AudioMotivation interview with Lecturer, author, businessman, and motivational icon John Harricharan.

AUDIOMOTIVATION:

What other tools and resources would you say are essential to achieve personal success and I'd love to pass that along to the AudioMotivation members today.

JOHN HARRICHARAN:

You know, I always thought there were two important things in the recipe of success. Two of the most important ingredients in success are, number one a sense of purpose and number two a touch of madness. You've got to be crazy. And I mean that in a really lighthearted way.

Let's touch on a sense of purpose. It's actually where do you want to go, what do you want to do, what is it you want to do with your life and what is it you want to do for humanity or your family or your friends or just for yourself? Which means you have to believe in who you are.

You have to have a feeling of self-worth, a feeling of self, not self-importance, but of a positive self-image that you are worthy of being here on this Earth.

Until you can come to terms with that, you can't go on to the other thing or the other one won't do it alone. It's like baking a cake with half the stuff you need for it. It won't be a really good cake so the other recipe is you've got to be crazy enough, you've got to be mad enough to say to yourself, you know the universe may not owe me a living but I owe the universe a life and because of that I will follow my dream, I will follow this inner feeling, this intuitive guidance, this whatever it is that calls to me from deep within me. I'll follow that and I'll do the necessary things, I'll take action and I'll get to where I want to go. That's the nutshell version of it, two of the most important things.

AUDIOMOTIVATION:

Now people really need to do this every day to kind of affirm that within themselves and free themselves of any guilt that may be holding them back, right?

JOHN HARRICHARAN:

Yeah, well you know, one of the greatest detriments to becoming wealthy is actually guilt. A friend of mine, a late friend of mine, Foster Hibbard, many people have heard of him. He was a friend and student of Dr. Napoleon Hill of Think and Grow Rich and Foster and I were friends for many, many years until he died a few years ago and once I asked him about money.

I said "Foster, what is it you think that prevents people from becoming wealthy?", and he looks at me and says "you know, John, it's guilt, guilt, guilt". Because the only message guilt brings is that you don't deserve it. It says to you, you don't deserve, you don't deserve, you don't deserve. And if there is a feeling within you that you do not deserve, if you do not deserve to be wealthy, you won't be because you will stop yourself.

It's like watering your garden and standing on the hose because nothing will come through. So what we have to do is erase guilt. Guilt is actually paying the price for something you've paid for before, you're just doing it over and over again. So one of the very important things is get rid of guilt, it's a poison.

Your Mental Diet - Prosperity


All day long you are surrounded by a data-sphere of information that promotes negativity, limitation, and 'lack' consciousness. It pummels your senses from all directions.

It comes from your TV, radio, the Internet, your friends, family, and the people you work with. Most people are so saturated by 'lack' programming that they can't even fathom a life of anything but struggle and complaints.

What you read, what you listen to, and the people you talk with, have a huge effect on the person you are and the thoughts you have. TV, radio, and the newspaper are all channels of information that create and feed the mass reality of doom and gloom.

You must recognize that this data-sphere is continually programming you 24/7, and that almost 95% of it is lack and limitation programming. And it's not just the media. It's also your family and friends. And your church and government.

So what do you do to combat all of this negative programming?

If you want to reach the highest levels of success-you have to zealously guard your consciousness. You must control your own programming, and reject the poisonous stuff most people are trying to feed you.

In order to focus on prosperity, it is imperative that you spendmore time on your own personal growth. Each morning and each evening before you go to bed, spend time on self development.

Remember you are the foundation from which all your dreams are made reality. Don't look outside for change, look inside.

Your physical health is but one half of the whole. Your mental health is the other.

Always expect your desires. Expect miracles.

Nurturing Your True Self, Your Spirit to Create Wealth


Do you ever wonder about the other “YOU?”

The one that speaks to you quietly, the one that helps you find inspiration.

It is in your spirit that the feeling of love and peace reign supreme. It is where happiness is free to embrace you.

Reach within yourself, FEEL good and FEEL happy.

Being is a state, such as being happy. You cannot explain state, nor can you do a state. You can only be (feel) a state. You cannot do happiness; you can only be happiness or be happy. Creation works as follows: being causes thinking, which causes speaking, which causes doing, which puts in place the system to receive and experience what you created in your being and thinking.

Being (feeling) is the First Cause.

What gives you strength, courage and empowerment? Why does negative self-talk feel magnified especially in your solitude?

We all have a Spirit, as we are Spiritual beings having a human experience. If you would stop, listen and nurture your spirit it will work with you in magnificent ways! It will not lead you astray.

Negative vibrations (thoughts/feelings) weigh you down, because your spirit does not want to have anything to do with your negative attitudes, it serves you no purpose. At that moment it is as if your spirit is almost trying to tell you, "Hey, if you pursue this negative course, you’re on your own. Listen to me and I’ll show you a better way."

The first step to experiencing massive wealth is being (or feeling) wealthy. Being wealthy is an internal state. It has nothing to do with the outside world. The internal state of wealth is a decision you make right now and you become it, right now. You need nothing outside of yourself to make this decision. Once you make this decision to be wealthy, you become wealthy. It is hard to speak of this because you can only be a state (you cannot do a state nor speak a state).

Feel wealth Now.

Be Wealth. Do not try to get wealth. Be Wealth. To help you understand that, consider happiness. Do not try to get happiness, Be Happy. See? You can either try to do things that make you happy, or you can instantly decide to be happy, just make a decision. You have done this before sometime in your life.

Everyone has at one time or another said 'you know what, I am not going to let this bother me. I am going to be happy and stop worrying about this.' Which is easier? Trying to do things to be something, or being that something instantly and letting that state of being allow you to do things consistent with it?

Of course it is easier to be happy instead trying to get happy. And this is the same with wealth. Be Wealth and everything else will follow automatically. This will only work as long as you are always, at all moments, Being Wealth.

You've heard it before, success is truly an inside job.

Just Be It.

Give to those whom you love; give to those who love you; give to the fortunate; give to the unfortunate; yes - give especially to those to whom you don’t want to give.

Your most precious, valued possessions and your greatest powers are invisible and intangible. No one can take them. You, and you alone, can give them. You will receive abundance for your giving.

The more you give - the more you will have!

GIVE a smile to everyone you meet (smile with your eyes) - and you’ll smile and receive smiles . . .

Universal Law of Attraction


The Universal Law of Attraction (LOA) is the most powerful force in the Universe. It is simple in concept and practice is necessary. But once you "get it", there is no looking back!

It will be part of you forever. The simplest definition of this law is "like attracts like."

Other definitions include:

  • You get what you think about, whether wanted or unwanted;
  • All forms of matter and energy are attracted to that which is of a like vibration;
  • You are a living magnet;
  • You get what you put your energy and focus on, whether wanted or unwanted;
  • Energy attracts like energy;
  • Everything draws to itself that which is like itself.

Here are some ways of expressing the Law of Attraction:

  • Birds of a feather flock together;
  • Like attracts like;
  • Whatever you want wants you;
  • What you sow, you reap;
  • What you put out you get back;
  • What comes around goes around.

The Law of Attraction is fun to learn and use because you are always watching, waiting expectantly for your desires to manifest. You can deliberately use this law to create your future!

Universal Law of Attraction

This universal law is working in your life right now, whether you are aware of it or not. You are attracting the people, situations, jobs and much more into your life. Once you are aware of this law and how it works, you can start to use it to deliberately attract what you want into your life.

How do you create your desires using the powerful law?

There are just a few basic steps.

1. Get very clear on what you want;
2. Visualize and raise your vibration about it;
3. Take inspired action;
4 . Allow It!

You must be very clear on exactly what your desire is.

Focus on it.

Give it all your positive energy.

Feel good!

A major factor behind this Universal Law is the energy and vibrations of our emotions and feelings. Any thought you may have, when combined with emotion, vibrates out from you to the universe and will attract back what you want.

You can leave all the details to the Universe. Let the Universe figure out the method of delivery, when you will receive it, etc.

Now all you have to do is Allow It. Sounds easy, right? This can be the most difficult part to do.

Be doubt-free.

All you need to do is expect it.

Act like you already have it.

Be grateful.

And always take inspired action. If something feels right, then go ahead and do it. Taking action is an important step.

That is it! You can always be expectant of good things, your desires. Feel good knowing your desire is on its way to you.

Always expect your desires.

Expect miracles.
